The feather edge products at Supreme Timber come in multiple sizes with the option of tanalised green (natural) and tanatone brown, pressure treated to guarantee long lasting protection against timber decay and rot, ensuring an amazing fencing product. Feather Edge fence boards taper over the 150mm width and are predominantly used for lap board fencing where fence posts are set at 1.8m or 2m centres, the posts are tied together with rails, two or three depending on the height of the fence with boards lapped by 25mm when fixed to the rails. When the boards are fixed it gives an overall thickness of 22mm which is slightly thicker than the average fence board. Another great benefit is no gaps will appear in the fence as the boards are lapped. Alternatively feather edge boards can be used as cladding for a number of projects, for example sheds and dog kennels.
