At Supreme Timber we stock a diverse range of board sizes to compliment changes in ground gradients but also to provide the client with a scope of options to suit their requirements. All fencing boards are pressure treated with an option of tanalised green (natural) and tanatone brown, ensuring durability and protection against the surrounding environment. Square edge fence boards are predominantly used for close board fencing where fence posts are set out at 1.8m or 2m centres and set with postcrete. The posts are tied together with rails, two or three depending on the height of the fence and boards fixed to the rails. When the boards are fixed tight, a small gap will form when they dry out and the gap will disappear once wet. Alternatively for those with windy gardens, a small gap 5-15mm would be suffice to let the wind through.
